Meet the Doctor

Dr. Michael A. Speesler received his degree from New York Chiropractic College after receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College-Rutgers University. Upon graduating, he was recruited by the prestigious offices of Wall Street Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in New York City, where he was promoted to the position of Director of Chiropractic.

At this facility, Dr. Speesler worked alongside medical doctors, physical therapists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists to develop integrated, revolutionary and research-based approaches to treatment, and was invited to lecture at several Fortune 500 companies about his treatments.  Dr. Speesler moved to Jenkintown in 2008 where he has enjoyed being in private practice at ActiveCare Rehabilitation and Chiropractic. 

Dr. Speesler continues to lecture throughout the community on a variety of health topics, and also works closely with the Women’s Center of Montgomery County and Women Against Abuse providing charitable contributions.  Dr. Speesler has been recognized by several local organizations for his work, and was the winner of the Young Professional of the Year Award given by the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce in 2010.

Dr. Speesler is passionate about chiropractic and could not imagine doing anything else.  He states that the truly amazing part of his job is not what he does, but the body’s amazing ability to heal and repair itself once any interference is removed.  In his spare time, he enjoys leading the active lifestyle that he promotes to his patients, and participates in activities such as weightlifting, cardiovascular exercise, yoga, surfing, skiing, kayaking, racquetball, and hiking.

Throughout his career, Dr. Speesler has treated many professional athletes, local sports teams, high profile clients, as well as people who are simply interested in living a healthy, pain-free life.
